David Narula
David Narula is a Member of the Board and a Principal Managing Consultant. He has extensive experience in government procurement and has worked within the naval engineering, ship repair & maintenance environment for more than 30 years. David was the senior systems engineer for the acquisition and set to operation of the Huon Class Minehunter Coastal vessels, the technical and procurement manager for the Adelaide Class Guided Missile Frigate Progressive Upgrade Program (FFG-PUP). In 2011, was responsible for the development and implementation of the RAM capability for the joint Navy & DMO initiative. Other recent assignments have included systems engineering and LSA support for the LHD Platforms, SEA 5000, the Deployable Counter CBRNE Capability for Special Operations, LAND 8190, Task Force Torpedo Self Defence Capability, Training Aircraft for AIR 5232, ILS Support to HANWHA Defense for LAND 400 Phase 3, Logistics Engineering for ISREW under Land 8410, RF Engineering Support to the Assured Positioning Navigation and Timing (Joint Project 9380), and Technical Lead for the Maritime Response Capability Project for the Australian Border Force, under the Department of Home Affairs. In 1994, David founded AMSC, and began development of the NARJON clean energy generation project. David is a Fellow Member of the Australian Institute of Physics and Companion Fellow Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia, a Certified Practicing Project Director & Members of the Australian Institute of Project Management and Member of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management.
